Jean Greenhowe's Christmas Treasures - Forty Page Special
Jean Greenhowe's Christmas Treasures - Forty Page Special. Great to knit for fund-raisers, as they require only small oddments of double-knitting yarn and take very little time to complete. If you enjoy knitting for charity, it can be quite a problem finding things to make which are quick, easy, inexpensive and yet attractive enough to sell like hot cakes!
Since the Christmas Special was published in 1991, Jean Greenhowe has received innumerable letters asking for more Christmas designs. So here are lots of delightful dolls, gifts and decorations including the most requested items, "The Donkey", to complete the Christmas Crib featured in our Christmas Special.
Jean says: The figurines and other items shown in this booklet have been specifically designed as decorative mascots or ornaments for older children and adults. Once knitted, they have many components which are not meant to withstand rough handling. They are therefore unsuitable for babies and very young children.
