Ann Norling Scrap Vest Pattern - #1
This pattern allows you to utilize leftover yarn from your knitting basket, eliminating clutter. It comes in various lengths to suit your desired style. The short vest has elegant tailoring with ribbing at the waist and curved armhole shaping. The medium and long vests have a comfortable, draping look, with relaxed shaping and generous arm holes. Be sure to choose a size that flatters you and allows room for layering. Experiment with different color combinations and textures. Make bold choices when it comes to adding color. Utilize photographs, floral arrangements, and artwork as sources of inspiration. This pattern features a variety of materials such as wool, mohair, ribbon, angora, cotton, rayon boucle, and metallics, allowing for endless possibilities. Don't be afraid to use that expensive yarn you've been admiring - it may be just the pop of color or texture your project needs. Start with 200-500 yards of a main color, and then add additional colors to create a unique garment. This vest is a great way to use up excess buttons from your collection. Get creative and mix and match to complement the different yarns in your project.
